Handmade Arthouse Woodland Stag & Doe Lamp

This absolutely beautiful lamp is one of a kind, and would grace any home. I have taken an old glass demijohn, and transformed it into a modern, unique lamp, lit by 200 firefly led lights. My stag and doe are stood in the evening light, surrounded by woodland, as the sun slowly sinks behind them. To make a lamp like this requires patience, and many layers of paint. Once I have built up the woodland background, with the setting sun (about 10 layers on this piece) I then fired the glass. Once it's cooled and survived being cooked (not all do!) I then come to the final, and outer layer of the design, for which I use a different kind of paint. I paint on the outer layer of trees, with all the detailing such as ferns, and ivy climbing the trees. I also add my deer at this point. For this one I decided on both a Stag and a Doe. I absolutely love making these lights, and they are very popular. I paint everything, from the background to the foreground, as my mind, imagination and whimsy take me! This means no two are ever the same, each one a unique piece of art. Super low energy leds light this lamp. The cable has a USB plug, and remote control, and is 1 meter long. This light is a substantial, chunky piece, measuring 32cm in height approximately, and 18cm depth/width. This is a beautiful modern, arthouse lamp, that would really bring a room to life. As with all my lights, it is designed to be a beautiful object during the day, with depth and detail to the paintwork. At the flick of a switch in the evening, it is completely transformed, emitting a beautiful, warm light. A true statement piece.
