Dried Flower, Rechargeable Bottle Light. This pretty bottle light has dried flowers on one side (the bottle was painted first before laying down the design) This light has a colour pallette of purple, yellow and pink. I grow and press all my own flowers for these lights, and once I have arranged and applied them, I then pick out details with paint, and add complementary touches and highlights, and add little bits as my whimsy takes me. I then seal the design, as dried flowers are very fragile. This light is completely unique - it's actually impossible for me to make identical lights. It is wired with a rechargeable, LED, Cork light. The lights are warm white, and last approximately 5 hours. When you need to recharge them, simply take off the cork bit and pop into a USB socket for 20 minutes - simple - no fuss, no mess, no waste! Eco Friendly lighting at its best. To turn the light on, simply twist the clear section at the base of the cork. This light offers a soft, gentle illumination; and because it is so portable, you can move it around or take it outside - so it would be perfect for a summer evening sat in the garden, sipping a chilled drink. Please do not leave outside though! Also perfect for a summerhouse, office or any environment really. Avoid placing in direct sunlight, as dried flowers are fragile and can lose their colour, although my process protects them to a certain degree.
These take a year of planning, as I can only grow the flowers when they are in season, and only pick the best flowers to press. So I have to plan well ahead of the creative part of the process! I also only harvest the blooms lightly, as my garden is predominantly there to support the bees, butterflies and mini beasts - the fact it looks good too is an added bonus.
UK only. Shipping is free. If you would like me to ship abroad, please speak to me first.
