My Journey To The World Of Arts And Crafts Was One That Started After 16 Years In The Veterinary World And 18 Months After Rock Bottom Mental Health And Physical Health Challenges. As Part Of My Recovery, I Was Encouraged To Take Up Craft And After Trying A Variety My Heart Has Been Stolen By Sewing Memory Bears And Other Animals And Pyrography. Through Craft, I Feel Like I Have Risen From The Ashes Like A Phoenix And I Am Embracing Life Again.
I Love Taking A Blank Piece Of Wood And Creating Something Unique With It. Wood Is Everywhere And Is A Part Of So Many Things We Use On A Daily Basis From Hairbrushes To Signs, Boxes To Egg Cups. Designs Can Be Simple To Something Intricate But They All Add To The Product. I Can Also Create Artistic Pieces To Go On Your Wall Or Even A Portrait Of Your Pet.
My Range Of Memory Animals (Bears, Elephants, Dogs And Rabbits), Cushions And Blankets Take Items That Are Important To You And Transform Them Into Something That Can Be Held And Treasured. Clothing Used Can Range From Babies' First Clothes To Those Of Departed Loved Ones, School Uniforms To Work Clothes. I Can Also Weight The Bears And Other Animals To Match The Birth Weight Of Your Child. Each Animal, Cushion And Blanket Can Also Be Embroidered With The Important Details Relating To The Person You Are Honouring.

I can take photos of animals and landscapes and change them into a pyrography art piece either on wood slices or plain wood blanks. Working with you, we will create something unique and bespoke

All products will be made from items of clothing provided by you. If you have a certain item of clothing or logo that is particularly important, I can ensure that this is featured multiple times and in prominent positions. In addition, I can embroider important information on the memory items. I am also happy to create other animals if you would like something unique. As well as clothing from loved ones, I can make items from your pet's blankets and bedding.
