Woodland Stag, Fox & Cub Table Lamp

This absolutely beautiful lamp is one of a kind, & would grace any home. I have taken an old glass demijohn & transformed it into a modern, unique lamp, lit by firefly led lights. My stag, fox & cub are stood in the early evening light, surrounded by woodland, as the sun slowly sinks behind them. To make a lamp like this requires patience & many layers of paint. Once I have built up the woodland background, with the setting sunlight (about 12 layers on this piece) I then fire the glass. Once it's cooled & survived being cooked (not all do!) I then come to the final, & outer layers of the design, for which I use a different kind of paint. I paint on the outer layer of trees, with all the detailing such as ferns, & ivy climbing the trees. I also add my deer & woodland animals at this point. For this one I decided on a Stag accompanied by a fox on the right. She is looking across to her cub, who is happily playing with a tree stump on the left side. I absolutely love making these lights, & they are very popular. Super low energy leds light this lamp. The cable has a USB plug, an in-line on/off switch, and is over 1 meter long. This light is a substantial, chunky piece, measuring 32cm in height approximately, &18cm depth/width. I have dressed the neck with chunky hessian cord to complete it. This is a beautiful modern, arthouse lamp that would really bring a room to life. As with all my lights, it is designed to be a beautiful object during the day, with depth and detail to the paintwork. At the flick of a switch in the evening, it is completely transformed, emitting a beautiful, warm light. A true statement piece.
